Payment

When you complete your order, you can choose from three payment options: check, credit card over the phone, or credit card via a secure server:

Option 1: Secure online payment by credit card:

For your security, we have selected the SP PLUS – Caisse d’épargne payment system so you can shop with confidence; it guarantees a completely secure transaction 24 hours a day when you pay for your purchases on our site. At the end of your order, you’ll be redirected to the SP PLUS – Caisse d’épargne server: a small padlock or key will appear at the bottom of your browser, indicating that the connection is completely secure. Your credit card number will then be transmitted in encrypted form directly to our bank without us having access to it. This is undoubtedly the fastest, safest, and most reliable way for you to pay for your order. You are also guaranteed that only the amount shown at the end of your order will be charged, and your order will be processed immediately.

Option 2: Credit card payment by phone:

For customers who wish to do so, we also offer the option, at the end of the checkout process, to pay for your purchases by credit card by providing us with your card number and expiration date by phone at 05 49 02 33 30, Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Please note that in this case, your order will not be processed until we receive your payment.

Option 3: Payment by check via mail:

At the end of the ordering process, we also give you the option to pay for your purchases by check. In this case, you will need to send your payment, made payable to Chocolaterie J-C. BERTON, by mail to Chocolaterie J-C. BERTON – 12 rue des Varennes – 86530 AVAILLES EN CHATELLERAULT

Please note that in this case, your order will not be processed until we receive your payment by mail.

Warranty

Non-personalized items:

To help you shop with confidence on our website, we offer a money-back guarantee on all our non-personalized items. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, we promise to refund or replace it. (Provided that your claim is accompanied by the return of the merchandise via registered mail with return receipt requested within a maximum of 7 days after receipt to: Chocolaterie J-C. BERTON – 12 rue des Varennes – 86530 AVAILLES EN CHATELLERAULT).

Please note: This warranty does not apply to products that can be easily reproduced, such as CDs or books, or to food items or perishables, such as sugared almonds, chocolate, and cookies, which are not eligible for return.

Customized items:

According to Article L.121-20-2 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to any items personalized at your request and according to your specifications, such as our personalized chocolate boxes, personalized labels, printed items, etc. Similarly, all personalized items sold on our website are not eligible for a refund if they were delivered in accordance with our terms of sale and as described on the website. However, you are covered by a “satisfaction or money-back” guarantee in the event that our team makes a printing or personalization error compared to your original order form. In this case, we promise to refund your order or replace it.
